Ahead of Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s music festival – which hosts a mammoth snowball fight in London on 30 June – National Geographic has released a number of clips from the two-night special, featuring Smith crisscrossing the country on his unofficial quest for experiences. In one clip, Smith claims to “find Mr Wendy” who also proved to be a man of God. Later in the clip, Smith is seen completing a half-marathon wearing what appears to be a space suit.

Next week’s event takes place at Finsbury Park, a number of venues and as such will have enough event space to house nearly 2,000 people.

Other performers at the festival include Stormzy, Big Sean, Nile Rodgers and more. Last year the music festival also celebrated the life of Ron Asheton, who was a founding member of the late 90s hip-hop group Gang Starr, with the Yellowman and AZ.
